| Reported herein is the estimation of the residual error of the reflectivity displacement method (RDM) and the dependence of RDM on terrain characteristics. The RDM is a method to be implemented on airborne synthetic aperture radars (SAR). An extended error analysis of this method and its dependence on the terrain type and contrast is performed.
