| For the determination of organic acids by paperchromatography, preliminary study was made of the effect of solvents, spray reagents and concentration of sample solutions, and further investigation was made of nonvolatile organic acids of the fruits produced in our country. From the results of our experiments, we confirmed the presence of citric acid and malic acid in many kinds of fruit juice, and the presence of tartaric acid and succinic acid in few kinds of fruit juice, and we obtained a spot corresponding to the pyrrolidone carboxylic acid in tomato fruit juice. | |||||||||||
