Strain Rate Dependence on Mechanical Properties in Some Commercial Aluminum Alloys. (1998)

Abstract
An investigation of flow stress and ductility as a function of stress rate at room temperature from 0.001 to 4000 1/s as conducted for some commercial aluminum alloys (1050, 3003, 3004, 5182 and 7N01); the relationship of flow stress to the presence of magnesium atoms in solute is discussed.
