High Temperature Deformation Characteristics of Extruded 2090 Aluminum-Lithium Alloys in a Wide Range of Strain-Rate. (1998)

Abstract
Microstructure and high temperature deformation properties of hot extruded aluminum alloy 2090 is studied. Tensile properties were determined at a strain rate range from 10(-5) to 2000/s and at temperatures between 723 and 793 K. Strain rate sensitivity and stress exponent, and activation energy of the alloy at high temperature are reported.
