Abstract | |||||||||
| The purpose of this paper is to show this new optical diagnostics is able to provide basic informations on a fluid flow, and especially the velocity probability distribution. The first part is a presentation of the principles, outlying the main optical and rational elements. The second part is a report of a few significant experiments. It emphasizes the measurements made in two types of supersonic flows: a wake, and a mixing layer. (Author) | |||||||||
