Collective Light Scattering and the Diagnostics of Velocity Fluctuations in Transonic Flows, (1992)

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to show this new optical diagnostics is able to provide basic informations on a fluid flow, and especially the velocity probability distribution. The first part is a presentation of the principles, outlying the main optical and rational elements. The second part is a report of a few significant experiments. It emphasizes the measurements made in two types of supersonic flows: a wake, and a mixing layer. (Author)
