A Report on the Legal and Other Critical Issues Associated with the Offshore Extraction of Sand and Gravel in Long Island Sound, (2005)

Abstract
The report is an inventory of legal and institutional issues relative to submarine sand and gravel extraction in Long Island Sound. It also briefly reviews environmental, technical and economic issues of significance. Once a proposed offshore mining project for Long Island Sound has resolved the above issues, the legal and regulatory issues must be confronted. The report systematically deals with such considerations.
