| Usability Inspections are essential for early detection of defects in UI design, but they require sound usability knowledge. Usability Patterns are the state-of-the-art format for describing usability knowledge. Thus, it seems obvious to use them as a means for evaluating the design of user interfaces. In this paper a usability inspection method based on usability patterns is introduced, which may be especially well suited for practitioners in software development, who are in general not usability experts. | |||||||||||
