| セル成型苗育苗におけるセルの形状及び深さがハクサイ'冬峠'のセル成型苗の生育ならびに根鉢形成に及ぼす影響を調査した.セル横断面形状が円形、と四角形ならびに深さが4;5.5cm計四種類の発泡スチロール製セルトレイを自作して実験を行った.円形セルの苗は四角形の苗に比べて, 根鉢形成が早かった.セルの形状に関わらず, セル深いほど根鉢形成は早かった.二葉期の生育段階では, 円形セルで育苗された苗は四角セルより, 根の生体重;同幹物重と根の呼吸活性, 根の全窒素;カリ;燐含有率ならびに地上部全窒素含有率は高かった.同じ形状のセルでは, セル深さによる有意差が認められなかった.三葉期の生育段階では, 円形セル苗根の呼吸活性, 地上部ならびに根の全窒素;カリ含有率, 地上部の燐含有率が四角セルより, 低くなった.同じ形状のセルでは, 浅いセルに比べて, 深いセル苗の根の呼吸活性, 根の全窒素とカリ含有率は高かった.全て処理区間に苗の生育と光合成速度は有意差が認められなかった.四葉期の生育段階では, 円形セルの苗の葉面積, 地上部と根生体重;同乾物重は有意に低く, また光合成速度と根の呼吸活性も低くなった.円形セル苗の地上部と根中の全窒素;カリならび燐含有率は四角形のセル苗より有意に低かった.同じ形状のセルでは, 浅いセルより, 深いセルのほうが有意に高かった.以上の結果から, セル形状がハクサイセル成型苗の生育及び根鉢形成を影響した.ハクサイセル成型苗育苗には, 四角ならびに深いセルが適当と考えた.. The experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of plug-tray cell's shape and depth on the growth and root circling of Chinese cabbage transplants at different growth stages. Round and square cells with 4 or 5.5cm in depth were used. The round cells were found to promote root circling compared to the square cells. The deep cells enhanced root circling regardless of the cell shape used. At the second leaf stage, the plants in round cells had better root growth, higher respiratory activity and greater mineral contents in roots than those in the square cells. Cell depths had no significant influence on the shoot and root growth, physiological activity and mineral contents. At the third leaf stage, the round cells remarkably decreased root respiratory activity compared to the square cells. The plants grown in the deep cells still showed considerably higher root respiratory activity than those in the shallow cells. However, neither the shape nor the depth affected the shoot and root growth, and photosynthetic rates in this stage. At the fourth leaf stage, the square cells promoted shoot and root growth, enhanced root respiratory activity, photosynthetic rate and mineral contents. Plants grown in the deep cells exhibited greater values in most of the parameters compared with the shallow cells. In conclusion, the square cell was more suitable for Chinese cabbage plug transplant production than the round cells. As to the depth of cell, the deeper cell was much fitter than the shallow one. | |||||||||||
