| Since the introduction of GSM based voice services and SMS as data service, many new technologies have evolved in the field of mobile technologies, without being able to gain a substantial spread. Additionally, the use of SMS is mainly for private communication, commercial applications are still rare. The question for possible applications and of existing as well as new technologies in customer oriented processes is still to be answered. This case study describes an example of the application of established mobile technology in the customer acquisition process of a health insurance provider. Essential aspects, which have proven to be crucial for success in the described project, are pointed out. | |||||||||||||
