Mentoring to reduce antisocial behaviour in childhood (2004)

Abstract
Mentoring of children and young people involved in antisocial behaviour has become a popular intervention. Research evidence to support the most commonly used programmes is lacking. Failed mentoring relationships may have a detrimental effect on some young people. Commitment to research based practice needs to include focus on what works in implementation as well as evidence of effect
