| Rad analizira održivost javnog i vanjskog duga Hrvatske pomoću standardnih statičkih pokazatelja koje koriste međunarodne financijske institucije, investicijske banke i rejting agencije. Pokazuje se da za temeljitu procjenu fiskalne i vanjske ranjivosti treba uzeti u obzir čitav niz različitih pokazatelja. Razina duga pri kojoj održivost postaje problem može se razlikovati unutar odreðenog vremena i u pojedinim zemljama, i ovisi o promjeni stajališta i očekivanja sudionika na financijskim tržištima. Pokazatelji održivosti javnog i vanjskog duga Hrvatske usporeðuju se s pokazateljima za zemlje kandidatkinje za Europsku uniju iz Središnje i Istočne Europe.. This article analyzes the sustainability of public and external debt of Croatia with the help of standard indicators used by international financial institutions, investment banks and rating agencies. It is shown that a thorough sustainability analysis requires the use of a whole range of indicators. A threshold at which debt sustainability becomes a problem may differ across periods and countries, and depends on the perceptions and expectations of financial market participants. The indicators of debt sustainability for Croatia are compared with those for EU candidates from Central and Eastern Europe. | |||||||||||
