The antihypertensive effects of doxazosin: A clinical overview

Abstract
1 Doxazosin is a long-acting selective α1-adrenoceptor antagonist which has been shown to be effective and well tolerated in the treatment of hypertension given in once-daily doses as monotherapy for up to 1 year or as an adjunct to thiazide or β-adrenoceptor blockers.
