Restricted-trace approximation for nuclear antiferromagnetism (1975)

Abstract
We use in this work the restricted-trace approximation to predict several properties of nuclear antiferromagnetic structures : sublattice magnetization, longitudinal and transverse susceptibilities. This study is specialized to a particular antiferromagnetic structure, observed in calcium fluoride. Although not perfect, the predictions of this theory are in qualitative agreement with the experimental results, and constitute an important improvement on the Weiss-field approximation combined with the high-temperature approximation. The second order approximation is not significantly better than the first-order one.
