Distributed National Collection (2009)

Abstract
My aim in this segment of the Seminar is to establish a context for the discussion of interlending and document delivery issues. I have been asked to speak about the 'Distributed National Collection'. Given the subject of this seminar, I intend to interpret this topic broadly, as covering all of the major factors impinging on document supply in which cooperative or national action is required by the library community. (In recent times some have suggested that there might be benefit in replacing the phrase 'Distributed National Collection' with some other phrase such as 'National Collection Access Strategy').
