Development of a Low Power Digital Signal Processor (2008)

Abstract
Abstract – Digital Signal Processors are applied to tasks both computationally intensive and portable. To extend battery life and enable features in battery-powered applications, low power is essential. We describe the development of a digital signal processor using a standard cell design flow in our Ultra Low Power (ULP) process. The prototype DSP completed fabrication in January, 2002. 1
