Abstract | |||||||||||||
| The past few years have seen exponential growth in the psychopharmacology of schizophrenia. Rapid expansion in the number of therapeutic agents available to the practicing psychiatrist, coupled with developments in technologies such as molecular genetics and brain imaging, have heralded a new era in the etiology and treatment of schizophrenia. These advances have been accompanied by a huge growth in the amount of related literature — more than 2000 articles have been published over the last 12 months.
