| To make best use of nowcasts and very short range forecasts in an operational setting it is desirable to have rapid feedback on how the forecast system is performing. Currently this is done subjectively by visually comparing the forecast display to the observations display after new observations become available, or objectively using the verification packages included in some nowcast systems. | |||||||||||||
