Abstract | |||||||||||||
| 25th January 2005 1 Introduction In the study of Markov chains indexed by trees, one lets time be the vertices of a tree, instead of the the integers. This generalization leads to a number of more or less surprising properties. For example, one can construct a chain which has an infinite Green function, but is transient. In this note, we consider that and some other examples in some detail, and other things in less detail. Since the literature on the subject is rather limited, in essential everything here is based on the papers by Benjamini and Peres [1], [2]. | |||||||||||||
