Parallel Implementation of a Validated Method for Initial Value Problems (2007)

Abstract
Abstract Validated (interval) method is used to solve the initial value problems (IVPs) of ordinary dierential equations (ODEs). Compare to traditional methods, validated method can provide a rigorous solution for IVPs of ODEs. But validated method requires more computational work than the traditional methods. We present a parallel implementation of the validated method and discuss our design idea, synchronization issues in this paper.
