The Impact of Secondary non-Gaussianities in the CMB on Cosmological Parameter Estimation (2009)

Abstract
We consider corrections to the cosmological parameters due to secondary contributions from weak gravitational lensing, the integrated Sachs-Wolfe effect, and the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect contained in the trispectrum. We incorporate these additional contributions to the covariance of a binned angular power spectrum of temperature anisotropy data in the analysis of current and prospective data sets. We find that recent experiments such as ACBAR and CBI are not particularly sensitive to these additional non-Gaussian effects, as the cosmological parameters are not affected by more than 0.1 \sigma. However, using mock data we find that, with Planck, the cosmological parameter estimates would be biased by . Comment: 9 Pages, 11 figures, Submitted to PRD
