Obra en que se da a conocer una nueva tendencia en la investigación científica: el estudio de las redes, desde las que existen en el mundo natural y biológico, hasta las computacionales, económicas o sociales. Todas ellas son consideradas como sistemas que siguen y operan con las mismas reglas, simples pero poderosas. El estudio de estas características comunes permiten al investigador determinar en qué se basa el éxito, por ejemplo, de google.com como uno de los buscadores más utilizados, o el impacto político de ciertas redes sociales. |
